Jeep Wagoneer SUV Specs and Reviews
After lying dormant for nearly 30 years, the Wagoneer name returned to the Jeep lineup in 2022 applied to a good-looking three-row full-size SUV offered in standard and extended-wheelbase versions. Designed to seat seven or eight people and carry loads of gear, the standard Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer have plenty of space, a powerful 420-horsepower twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engine, and a max towing rating of 9,800 pounds.
Wagoneer SUV specs and reviews models drive well on highways, with a soft ride that carries passengers and cargo in comfort. On winding roads, however, the Jeeps have a lumbering feel that robs them of some enjoyment. The swaying rear end can also get distracting when you’re trying to stay focused on the road ahead.
2024 Wagoneer trims and features breakdown
The Grand Wagoneer is a step up in luxury, with more expensive interior materials and a suite of driver-assistance features that aren’t available on the plain Wagoneer. It’s also heavier, so it can’t tow as much (nine,800 versus 10,450), and it has a larger turning radius than the standard Wagoneer.
The Grand Wagoneer’s 10.1-inch infotainment and 10.3-inch digital gauge displays are standard and feature Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, integrated navigation, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, and more. The top-spec Series III trims have a 19-speaker McIntosh audio system. With over 140 standard and available safety and security features, the Grand Wagoneer is one of the most well-equipped vehicles in its class.
